The Faculty of Technology and Merchandizing was established in 2011 as a result of reorganization that took place at the University at the time. Two departments, The Department of Merchandising and Expert Examination of Goods and the Chemistry Department joined in with the Faculty of Technology.
Five departments compose the Faculty of Technology and Merchandizing. They are the Department of Crop Processing Technology; the Department of Livestock Product Processing Technology; the Department of Processing Plants’ Processes and Equipment; the Department of Merchandising and Expert Examination of Goods and the Chemistry Department.
Since 1992 the Faculty has been providing training services for its students with the specialization in Crop Processing and Production Technology (110305.65) that has two qualifications, Crop Processing Technology and Livestock Product Processing Technology.
In 2010 our Faculty introduced a new specialty, The Technology of Fatty Substances, Oils and Cosmetics with a qualification Fatty Substances Technology.

The Faculty is offering educational and training services in compliance with the second- and the third-generation State Educational Standards. On completion of the course of studies our students receive competitive Specialist Diplomas or Bachelor’s Degrees that allow them to search employment at the modern food processing enterprises, trading companies, inspection centers.
