The Faculty of Agricultural Science, Agricultural Chemistry and Ecology was established in 2011 as a result of the University reorganization. It united the Faculty of Agricultural Science and the Faculty of Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Science and Environmental Science.
The Faculty of Agricultural Science was the first faculty since the establishment of the University in 1912. The Faculty of Agricultural Chemistry was set up in 1965.
Our Faculty has trained over 14 thousand agriscientists who made a significant contribution into advancement of the agricultural science and practice.
Since 2010 we have been providing training in Master’s Degree programs.

The Faculty is carrying out researches in following fields: soil efficient use and enrichment, increase in productivity of the cultivated crops in the Central Black Earth Region; cultivation of new varieties and crop production technologies development.
